for Online Courses

- Read the System Requirements
for Online Course Access.
- All courses follow the traditional academic
schedule. Unless otherwise notified, students are expected to begin work on their course on
the first day of the term.
- You must have an active
JSU
Email account in order to ensure you receive official
instructions and information regarding your Online Course, and to
access JSU's Blackboard and
other systems.
- Instructors use a variety of methods
for providing courses online. Please review the information on
the
Course Availability page for
information about course availability and access. To see the list of Online Courses,
go to Online Courses and choose
the semester in which your course is offered. If you don't see
your course listed, you may go directly to the the Blackboard
Access and Other Systems page. If you are unable to locate
your course in Blackboard or another course content system, you may
contact
your instructor for more information.
- Note about taking examinations: You may be required to
identify a testing agent or proctor in your region. Your
instructor should provide more details on this matter once you begin
taking a course. For more information on proctoring, click
