SREB's Electronic Campus  Information

The Southern Regional Education Board's Electronic Campus is an “electronic marketplace” for courses, programs, and services. All courses and programs are offered by accredited colleges and universities in the 16 SREB states and meet the Principles of Good Practice developed by the Electronic Campus.

FACULTY:
In order to be eligible for submission into the Electronic Campus, course material must be presented entirely online. Faculty are responsible for reviewing the
Principles of Good Practice and ensuring that their courses comply with the criteria.  Submission into the Electronic Campus is not appropriate for courses that are only supplemented by online methodology.

Student Information

SREB's Electronic Campus brings college programs and courses from across the South as close as your computer. You can:
  • Identify programs and courses that are available online.
  • Search by college or university, discipline, level and state for more detailed information, including course descriptions and how the programs and courses are delivered.
  • Connect directly to the college or university to learn about registration, enrollment and cost.
  • Take virtual tours of the colleges you are interested in, and review important facts about each college or university

The sponsoring accredited college or university will provide you with detailed information about:

  • Admissions
  • Credit transfer
  • How programs and courses are delivered
  • Financial aid
  • Prerequisites and other enrollment matters
  • Refunds
  • Registration
  • Tuition and fees

Credits earned in programs and courses offered through the Electronic Campus are transferable. The acceptance of credits and the use of credits for program requirements are governed by the college or university to which the credits are being transferred.  You should consult the college or university for specific policies about credit transfer. All programs and courses have been reviewed by the participating colleges and universities against a common standard, the Principles of Good Practice, developed by the Electronic Campus. The Electronic Campus does not control the policies and procedures of individual colleges or universities, but it does require participating colleges and universities to provide prospective students with information on enrollment and tuition.
