Video-Based Courses

Video-Based Courses may combine video-based lessons with on-campus study sessions, texts, reading assignments, laboratory opportunities and material in the Blackboard online course management system.

Requirements:  Students must have access to a videocassette or DVD player and a television in order to view the video material associated with each course.  All required video material will be supplied by the instructor.  Video-Based Courses have specific required meeting dates that may not show up in the search results or when registering through the MyJSU portal.  You will need to contact the instructor of the course to find out the meeting dates.  An email link is provided with each course listing on the search results page.  You may also be able to find this information in the printed schedule book for each term.  Students may be required to access the Blackboard and JSU Email systems.  Please review important links and information near the bottom of this page under Links and Information.
